Late 1940 Alf Carlson establishes the Brad-Lynn Restaurant at 1422 20th St., featuring a smorgasbord on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Name after his children, the restaurant is run by the family until 1964.
1964-68 Several short-term restaurants occupy the space.
1968 Gus and Maxine Peterson buy the business and the Stockholm Inn is born on June 24.
1970 Jim and Vera Osborn purchase the restaurant, stewarding it until 1976.
1976 John and Elayne Bilka take over the business, growing it until it requires double the capacity and is relocated to 2420 Charles Street in March 1996.
To Date After 25 years of dedication and service to the community, the Bilkas retire and a local group of investors dubbed 'The Lingonberry Group', purchase the restaurant.
